1. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲.
A peaceful place will help you focus. If you can’t find a place in your house sit by a window or outside to find some peace.
2. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟱-𝟭𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀. Don’t over burden yourself with big meditation goals especially during stressful times. Keep it simple. Better to meditate more in small doses than big long meditations where you’ll be frustrated. Meditate before your to do list. This will help you go into the to do list with a clear mind.
3. 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀! Some clients worry about being perfect at meditating. If you have a thought just go back to your breathe, if you can’t sit in perfect posture do what’s comfortable. Do the best you can, don’t focus on being perfect.
